3.2 NUS Cymru agreed to share with the Committee the outcome on the piece of work they are undertaking into any impact on students’ mental health by the proposals to cut support provision and a note on the details in the Welsh Government learning grant.

6.1 The Committee considered the evidence it had heard in the previous sessions.

6.2 It agreed the next steps to write to an Higher educational think tank with the information gathered.

7       Implementation of education reforms - scope and approach for the final check-in

7.1 The Committee agreed the scope and approach for the final check-in.

7.2 This would consist of school visits in October, a scrutiny session with the Cabinet Secretary for Education and a final report to be published in January 2026.

8       Supplementary Legislative Consent: Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill

8.1 The Committee considered the Supplementary LCM, the draft report would be agreed electronically and laid on the 19th September.
